In all of the photographs I took, I combined many strategies in order to make my images interesting. Using the rule of thirds, I would focus rather on smaller details and allow for better movement throughout the image. Some of the images I took demonstrate this in better usage than the others. In other images, I focused more on balance, In the photo of the closet door, I used the door knob to offset the change in light, that the ceiling light created in the image. In the checkers, I used the rule of thirds, by placing the checker piece at the bottom of the page . I used the other pieces in the background to create more balance as the eye moves around.
In many of the images, I attempted to make them interesting using the rule of thirds, as well as the different angles from which the pictures were taken. I moved the camera in many different positions in order to obtain the most appealing image. I also altered the indoor lighting in the checker picture in order for maximum focus and clarity of the image. Adding the checkers allowed for the piece to be a bit more interesting than just the plain board. In the guitar picture, I used the red pic in order to make the image interesting. The addition of a new color brought the eye to this portion, but the strings allow the eye to travel to the end. In the tree and piano images I used black and white coloring for better contrast in order to be more appealing, having the basic elements stand out .
